We Need Fosters!

Please consider becoming a foster home for a GSP in need.
If not you, who?

It is hard to beat the satisfaction of placing a dog in a home that loves him or her!

If you are interested in becoming a foster for Texas GSP Rescue, please fill out an application. (It is the same application as our adoption application). We are ALWAYS in need of loving foster homes! The more foster homes we have, the more GSPs can be rescued.

We are also looking for foster homes in OKLAHOMA and LOUISIANA. There is not a GSP Rescue in either state and we do our best to cover intake but could do a much better job with fosters there. Open Positions

We are in need of volunteers for the following positions:

1. San Antonio Area Coordinator - This volunteer will coordinate the San Antonio Area activities, including: foster home coordination, adoption application review, home visit set up, and oversees the adoption process from intake to adopted.

2. Houston Event Coordinator - This volunteer will coordinate the place and date for events in Houston and getting volunteers there. Time estimated: Depends on activities, can be time intensive for a short period and then not at all. It is flexible to work around someone's schedule.

3. Houston Area Application Processer - This volunteer will be someone already familiar with Texas GSP Rescue that will process applications in the Houston area.

4. Photographers! - Our dogs really primarily "sold" by their online bio, so they need some good pictures! Anyone interested in helping to take photographs of our foster dogs would be much appreciated! We have a need for this in all areas that we have fosters: Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Amarillo and Lufkin.
